We all ride bikes now

TPS Board Member, Joanna Ward and Philip Crompton have published a book "We all Ride Bikes Now" which will be of interest to TPS Members.

'Anna Delaney is 18 and has no time for either cycling or cyclists. But all that is about to change. Jake Jones loves his bike. He is 18 too.
In the space of a few months Anna and Jake become absorbed by the impact cycling has made on other countries - and then they find themselves centre stage in a year that transforms they own.
This inspirational story is written by two people who understand the pressures under which young people live thier lives. But also  know the impact thier energy and imagination can have on the world.
They also know quite a lot about transport - and cycling in particular.'

Stephen Bennett - Chair of the Transport Planning Society said

''I really did enjoy '' We All Ride Bikes Now''. It brings to life the real travel choices we make every day and captures the joy and excitement of cycling. It should encourage all young people to take opportunities and seize the moment - you never know what might happen.''

Lillian Greenwood - MP for Nottingham South and Transport Select Committee member

''As Anna discovers when she gets back on her bike, cycling's cheap, keeps you fit, clears your head and can change your life!''

Phil and Jo have self-published and once all costs have been covered all proceeds will go to the charity Ridewise https://www.ridewise.org.uk/
a Nottingham based organisation which has helped thousands of people learn to cycle, repair thier bikes and campaigned for better cycling facilities.

Copies are £10 p&p (within the UK)  and can be obtained by contacting Joanna at weallridebikesnow@gmail.com'
